Founded in 2021 by attorney Nicole A. Palermo, The Palermo Firm serves clients throughout New York and New Jersey in estate planning, elder law, probate, estate administration and adoption. The firm also provides estate-planning guidance tailored to first responders and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
How the Firm Has Grown
Nicole established The Palermo Firm to create a more personal and practical legal experience. Clients should understand the decisions they are making, why those decisions matter and how their legal documents will protect them and the people they care about.
In 2024, The Palermo Firm absorbed the practice of longtime Long Island attorney David M. Ardam following his retirement. David practiced law on Long Island for more than four decades, beginning his legal career in 1979 and entering private practice in 1981. The transition brought his longstanding client relationships and deep ties to the Long Island community into the growing firm.
Today, The Palermo Firm continues to build on that foundation while expanding its team and the range of support available to individuals and families throughout the region.
